Workshop Summary
Baby Boomers’ impact on society is well known. At
78 million strong, Boomers represent more than $2 trillion in annual
spending. As this consumer segment continues to age, they develop
different attitudes, behaviors, interests, lifestyle activities and
needs than in previous life stages. Boomers are also taking a different
approach to managing their physical, social, financial and emotional
health than have previous generations.
Join Steve French and Greg Stephens from The Natural
Marketing Institute (NMI) as they lead an in-depth, hands-on workshop
surrounding the latest data and insight from a range of NMI’s
proprietary research databases including the Healthy Aging/Boomer
Database™.
Focus will be given to topics related to dietary
supplements, foods/beverages, disease prevention, fears of aging,
nutritional challenges, fitness and personal care products. The role of
supplements and foods will also be examined across specific health
issues such as weight management, heart health, diabetes, arthritis,
lack of energy, cognition, and sleep disorders.
Many other factors also influence Boomers’ health
and wellness. NMI will present a unique perspective on how topics such
as care giving, finances, government programs, employment and retirement
can impact today’s Boomer. Combined with the nutritional and health
topics, this will present a comprehensive overview of Boomers.
Insight into NMI’s proprietary Boomer consumer
segmentation model will also be explored. Based on NMI’s quantitative
data and vast expertise, workshop participants will gain a better
understanding of consumer trends and the gaps and opportunities in the
Boomer marketplace.
All participants will receive a hard copy and
electronic version of the full presentation, including valuable data
representing a $2,500 value.
