SupplySide West 2000 Trade Show and Conference Selects Al Franken as Keynote Speaker

Emmy and Grammy Award-Winning Comedian and Political Satirist Al Franken will present the keynote address at SupplySide West 2000. Franken's delivers his special brand of commentary and insight on Monday, October 23 at 10 am. Franken's keynote address, sponsored by Traco Labs Inc., is part of a full conference program offered at SupplySide West.

A top rated political satirist, he has worked as a correspondent for Comedy Central and CNN and has delivered speeches at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Maybe best known for his work as an original member of Saturday Night Live, where he earned four Emmys for his writing and one for producing. He also has garnered critical acclaim for his coverage of politics, The New York Post has called him "the Walter Cronkite of the 90's". Also a popular author, Franken has penned three books including Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot & Other Observations, which hit the New York Times bestseller list the first week in bookstores.

The full program includes more than 15 in-depth, interactive sessions with special emphasis on BtoC and BtoB internet marketing, FDA/Legal Perspectives and GMP regulations. Two Question and Answer Forums will provide opportunity for lively exchange on supplier/manufacturer issues of concern.
