SupplySide West to Host Scientific Excellence Awards

PHOENIX—VIRGO’s Health & Nutrition Network is now accepting applications for the SupplySide West Scientific Excellence Awards, designed to recognize innovative ingredients and technology. Panelists will evaluate the submissions on science/research methods, scientific breakthrough, innovation and appeal for the manufacturing community. New ingredients and technologies as well as new research or applications involving established ingredients and technologies are appropriate entries. The SupplySide West Scientific Excellence Awards are open only to exhibiting companies at SupplySide West 2011. To apply, click here. The deadline to submit applications is Aug. 5, 2011. Winners will be presented the award during SupplySide West at The Venetian and The Sands Expo in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 2:00pm in the VIRGO booth. Winners will be recognized in print and online through VIRGO’s leading brands Food Product Design, Natural Products INSIDER and Inside Cosmeceuticals.
