Workshop Summary
The “myth” of the metabolic syndrome has evolved into a recognized health issue by the medical community, which in turn has led to increased media coverage and higher consumer awareness. Understanding the attitudes, perceptions and behaviors of consumers is critical to capitalize on this emerging market.
Join Greg Stephens from Natural Marketing Institute (NMI) as
he leads an in-depth, interactive workshop surrounding the latest data and
insight from a range of NMI’s proprietary research databases including the
Health & Wellness Trends Database™, Healthy Aging/Boomer Database™
and others.
Focus will be given to topics related to nutritional supplements,
foods/beverages, disease prevention, and nutritional challenges. The role of
supplements and foods will specifically be examined across specific health
issues such as weight management, insulin resistance, cholesterol management and
hypertension. Based on NMI’s quantitative data and vast expertise, workshop
participants will gain a clear understanding of consumer trends and the gaps and
opportunities that exist in this rapidly emerging market.
